Mrs. Ibukun Odusote is the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. As Permanent Secretary, she served with the Ecological Fund Office, Federal Ministry of Power, Federal Ministry of Environment and Federal Ministry of Culture, Tourism & National Orientation.
Before her appointment as Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Odusote was the Director Information Technology Department, Federal Ministry of Information and Communications.
In 2000, she was appointed National Coordinator and Founder of Digital Peers International, organizers of DIGITEST, an annual creative IT-based camp/competition for children on creating content on the internet and addressing topical national issues. Odusote has been actively involved in DIGITEST since inception and was the major brain and organizer behind every year’s event.
Odusote started out from St. Teresa’s College, Oke-Ado Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria where she obtained her School Certificate Division 1 and preceded to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria where she obtained a B.Sc degree in Computer Science/Economics. She later obtained an M.Sc and M.B.A degrees in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria.

Odusote hails from Ikenne-Remo in Ogun State, Nigeria. She is married to Engr. Adeolu Odusote and they are blessed with a daughter, Ayanfeoluwa Odusote.
